摘要：Data mining has been an active research topic, especially when large data sets become available in the last twenty years. Big data sets are so voluminous and complex that traditional data processing approaches are inadequate to deal with them. Mining big data presented new challenges in all aspects, including data storage, processing and search etc.

In this talk, I will present some Graph Theory based data mining techniques, these techniques are based on some Graph Isomorphism and Subgraph Isomorphism detection algorithms. I will discuss how these mining techniques could be adapted to process large data sets, thus copping with the new challenges presented in some real work applications.

报告人简介：1995年兰州大学数学系本科， 2004年澳大利亚纽尔卡尔大学数学系博士。曾留日从事软件开发工作。现为澳大利亚纽尔卡尔大学电子工程和计算机科学学院副教授，副院长。主要从事组合，图论和软件开发等方面的研究工作，已发表论文60余篇。
