Title: Robust Decoding from quantized Sampling

Abstract: In this talk, I will introduce regularized least squares as a decoder for the measurement with quantization. I will show the estimation error achieve minimax optimal bound. Computationally,generalized Newton methods are developed to solving the non-smooth KKT equations.
Speaker Introduction:焦雨领,2014年毕业于武汉大学数学与统计学院, 现就职于中南财经政法大学统计与数学学院统计学系,文澜学者, 副教授。主要从事数据科学(机器学习、统计计算、高维统计推断、反问题等)方面研究。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年项目、湖北省自然科学基金面上项目、统计与数据科学前沿理论及应用教育部重点实验室课题各一项。在包括 SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, Applied and Harmonic Analysis, Journal of Machine Learning, Statistical Science,ICML, Inverse Problems, IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, Journal of Scientific Computing, Advanced in Computational Mathematics,Bioinfomatics,中国科学等在内的期刊和会议上发表30余篇论文并制作了多个MATLAB/R/PYTORCH程序包。受邀在第四届统计优化与学习国际研讨会邀请主题报告(http://news.bjtu.edu.cn/info/1011/29948.htm);在上海财经大学暑期学校开设 短课程Statistical Learning (https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/4dUXxGpkjJ2-cz9XZ8w9yA)。
