Scalar curvature has deep connection with and minimal hypersurfaces as revealed by the celebrated Schoen-Yau proof of positive mass theorem in 1979. The geometry of scalar curvature at an asymptotically flat infinity is decoded in the ADM mass. Almaraz-Barbosa-de Lima introduced an ADM type invariant that includes the mean curvature at infinity and they showed a positive mass theorem. I am going to present a proof of their positive mass theorem. If time permits, I will talk about some interesting progress and questions regarding generalizations of this result.

柴小祥博士 2018年博士毕业于香港中文大学, 现为韩国高等研究院博士后研究员,他的研究课题主要是数学相对论中标量曲率的刚性问题, 极小曲面等, 在 J. Geom. Anal., Pacific J. Math.等期刊发表论文。
